Crosswalk Children’s Ministries

CrossWalk Children’s Ministry is about loving kids the way Jesus did. “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mathew 19:14)

In CrossWalk Children’s Ministries our primary objective is about loving and leading kids to Christ. To this end we try to…

  • Provide Biblically based, age appropriate activities for children, birth through fifth grade. (Worship, Small Group Sunday School, Caravans, Kids Choirs, Kid’s Quizzing, VBS…)
  • Make kids feel valued and special through relational communication.  (Birthday Club, After School Action …)
  • Recruit quality, committed, volunteers and staff to love and lead our children. (Background checks are required to work in our children’s department as well as periodic training.)
  • Provide a safe and fun environment before and after ministry events. (We have a play area for children called “The Hangar”.  Parents must present a church issued security card to pick-up their children from this area.)
  • Provide opportunities for families and children to serve others and the church through small groups and outreach ministries as well as partnering with parents to teach kids about Christ.  (Upward Sports, Playgroup, Babysitting Co-op, Tread Team …)
