H.O.M.E. GROUPS

H.O.M.E. Groups have touched lives, opened hearts, and made friends among strangers. They have added a new element to Christian living while providing a comfortable environment for self spiritual growth.
What Is a H.O.M.E. Group?

A H.O.M.E. Group is a gathering of eight to twelve people who meet weekly to share their lives, join together in prayer, and learn to apply the Bible to the daily stresses and joys of life. Homes Open for Ministry and Encouragement have a place for you!! There are many H.O.M.E. Groups and Bible studies to choose from that are offered throughout the week. A listing of these groups are included in this table under the “H.O.M.E. Groups in Action” section. Feel free to call the H.O.M.E. Group host/hostess and explore what each group has to offer you!! There is no fee or hassle to join a H.O.M.E. Group. All you need is a Bible and tablet to jot down questions or notes. Though some groups have their individual course of study, most groups discuss the passages of Pastor Jerry’s sermon from the previous Sunday morning, offering more insight, application, and understanding.

What does our Church Family say about H.O.M.E. groups?

"...Christian fellowship...with a small group of people, you can divulge more intimate details and problems in your life with the comfort of knowing you have prayer partners and people you can confide in and trust..."

"...a place where I can listen and learn."

"...a way to get to know people in the church. It is sometimes hard to get myself to my H.O.M.E. Group considering how busy my life gets, but I am always glad I made it. It's great to hear insights about God's Word from other Christians."

Remember, with Twin Falls First Church of the Nazarene H.O.M.E. Groups, there are no strangers ... just friends who have not met!!!

THE JOURNEY BACK

For some people, the journey back to health is one fraught with fear, difficulties, and unique challenges. that is why we believe so strongly in creating a system of support that is available for all who wish to redeem the broken parts of their story. We also believe that change is most often expressed and nurtured in a relational setting. The support groups offered through Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene and EPIC are designed to afford individuals the best possible relational system of support while journeying through their own unique set of circumstances
Each support group relates to a specific need commonly found amongst people. The goal of each group is to give people the best opportunity - from a community perspective - to overcome the issue(s) that concern them and grow from the redeeming nature of the group itself. Rooted firmly in the Christian convictions of grace and love, support groups are a wonderful opportunity for people of all backgrounds, stories, and journeys to allow Jesus Christ and a community of faith to lead them to the path of recovery.
